Returns Policy

At Game Oz we realise that things don't always go as expected, and sometimes goods may have to be returned – a product may be defective.

If a product meets the return requirements, wrongly described, different from a sample shown or doesn't do what it is supposed to do, you may choose between a replacement, store credit or refund.

Examination by the company of such goods shall disclose to its satisfaction that such defects exist and have not been caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, installation or handling, or by repair or alteration not effected by the company. The company's liability to the buyer in either contract or tort shall not extend either under this condition or any other provision or in any circumstances at all to indirect or consequential loss or damage or loss of profits sustained by the buyer provided always that this condition shall not exclude or restrict for death or personal injury arising from its negligence. Goods being returned will only be accepted with the returns authorisation number issued by the company clearly labeled with in the packaging.(please contact returns@gameoz.com.au

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that any items returned are properly insured.

The company will not be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit or shipping costs related to returning items.

All goods returned must have a copy of the original invoice enclosed with the returned goods.

Goods returned must be as originally supplied by the company.

No refund's will be issued to change of mind items, please select your item's carefully.

 

Defective Items

New items come with a 30 day guarantee against manufacturing defective. Used items have a 7 day return . Some items may have a longer warranty periods provided by the manufacturer.

Return period for Jigsaw puzzles are 30 days.

 

How to request a return for a defective item

STEP 1. Please contact returns@gameoz.com.au as soon as the problem arises . Please state your order number, the item you are returning and description of the problem.

STEP 2. One of our friendly staff will contact you with a return number.

STEP 3. Once the item is received by us, and provided the returned item meets our return critera we will provide you with a credit to your account, a replacement product or a refund on the item to your original method of payment. This will be done within 7 business days of receiving the item and advise you of the outcome.

Customers are responsible for all costs to facilitate the return of the item to us. Game Oz does not accept any liability for returned items until they have been received by us.

 

Warranty Claims

Warrantable Items. A warrantable item is one which is covered by a manufacturer's warranty. This is often the case in brand-name electrical items.

Warranty claims are handled by the manufacturer, please contact them immediately and follow their Returns Policy and Instructions.

Returned or unclaimed

Parcels that are returned to us because of wrong addresses entered by customer's or a failure to pick up items from Australia post or any other reason, will incur a Re-delivery fee of $9.90 per parcel + the Australia post returned delivery fee, which will be what ever Australia Post charges us. Customers choosing to cancell returned parcels, a $9.90 restocking fee will apply per parcel+ the Australia post returned delivery fee, which will be what ever Australia Post charges us when we pick up your parcel. Please note, we are being charged by Australia Post for returned item. This fee will be passed onto the customer.
