Graham Thompson, the man behind the Wasgij sensation, loves to draw everyday things and the situations that we all find ourselves in from time to time. Since the age of two, he found drawing a natural thing to do. He left school to be a junior stained glass window designer and then went into advertising. He worked as an illustrator, a storyboard artist with top London advertising agencies for 30 years. He now concentrates on drawings for puzzles, calendars and posters. Graham’s Wasgijs take about three weeks to draw from rough pencil to finished art. He always draws the picture on the box first, rather than the puzzle.
